Hi. I’m Kristina Thai. I’m currently an iOS Software Engineer working at Intuit. I help build the iOS app for the QuickBooks Self-Employed product, which helps support many entrepreneurs in the contactor and on-demand economy.
I develop for the Apple Watch in my spare time, mostly to satisfy my own curiosity about this latest technology. I also write about my speaking career and my experience as an early career female engineer in Silicon Valley. As a huge advocate for other women in technology, I helped start the Tech Women @ Intuit network.
The best way to contact me is through Twitter.

I graduated in June 2012 from the University of California, San Diego with a BS in Computer Science. I finished as a Software Engineer in the Rotational Development Program, a, now defunct, two-year new grad leadership acceleration program at Intuit in 2014. Prior to my current position on the QuickBooks Self-Employed mobile team, I worked on the mobile components and services team where they specialized in building mobile frameworks/libraries to support Intuit’s many mobile apps. Specifically, my specialty was OCR and image capture work of financial documents. I also previously worked as an interaction designer and iOS developer on the Intuit Online Payroll mobile companion app.
