Hi. I’m Kristina Fox 🦊. I’m currently an iOS engineer at Apple. Previously, I worked as a Staff iOS Engineer at Intuit where I helped build the iOS app for the QuickBooks Self-Employed product. As a huge advocate for women in technology 👩🏻‍💻, I helped found the Tech Women @ Intuit network.

I almost fell into engineering by accident. My mom always wanted me to be a doctor and I always wanted to do something with computers. After spending most of my middle and high school life designing websites and working on my personal blog, I was delighted to discover that I could actually develop websites for a living 🤩. Funnily enough, once I started as a front-end engineer, I quickly grew bored and started looking around for other opportunities.

Enter iOS 📱. I was lucky enough to be in a, now defunct, rotational new grad program at Intuit which allowed me to try out different tech stacks every six months. I absolutely grew to love iOS development. What really made me stick around though was the amazing iOS community out there. You can find me most days on Twitter engaging with all the brilliant minds that make my job feel less like a job and more like a calling every day (this is also the best way to reach me).

I’m super passionate about teaching and coaching and love to speak internationally at conferences and share all of my learnings with others. If I could do this for a living, I think that would be my dream job ✨

As a true Californian, my main goal in life is to eat as much avocado toast 🥑 as possible. Follow me on Instagram for a look into the Silicon Valley life, as well as lots of pictures of food 🌶 and animals 😻.
